We leave Tiberias, stopping at Beit She'an, a Decapolis city connected to the deaths of Saul and his sons. We will share music and information as we traverse the Jordan River Valley. This leg of our journey takes us to the lowest point on the face of the earth - the Dead Sea basin. We will go to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found, and there we will have lunch and do some shopping. We will visit the Ein Gedi nature preserve, where David hid from King Saul. After checking in to the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea Hotel, you'll have time for a leisurely dip in the world's saltiest body of water.
